EU Cybersecurity - Skills Bootcamp
Join our community of over 2,000 OpenClassrooms mentors and share your business knowledge with our students in remote mentoring sessions.
OpenClassrooms mentors are freelance senior professionals. They help students succeed in their training programs, through weekly video calls lasting up to an hour. It’s a 100% remote mission.
Mentors have a role model responsibility towards our students.
During remote mentoring sessions, they share their professional vision and provide valuable insights into the training projects of the students assigned to them.
Please note that all educational materials necessary for student training are provided by OpenClassrooms and made available directly on the student and mentor platforms.
During mentoring sessions, mentors are expected to:
Guide students based on the specific mentoring information shared with them, their knowledge of relevant technologies and tools, their understanding of project instructions, and their familiarity with the assessment criteria.
Motivate students to keep them engaged in their training. This requires adaptability to tailor methods according to each student's profile.
Inspire students by sharing experiences, readings, conferences—any insights that help students gain perspective and envision their future careers.
Evaluate students by ensuring the consistency and compliance of their deliverables from one session to the next and by assessing their understanding of the objectives of each project throughout their program.
We also emphasize that providing 100% remote support requires mentors to be proficient with digital tools.
